Super Duplex pipes offer a mixed microstructure of austenite and ferrite (50/50), providing the benefits of both: high strength and exceptional corrosion resistance. With a PREN (Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number) > 40, these pipes withstand the harshest chloride-rich environments.
Unlike standard 300-series stainless steel, Super Duplex offers nearly double the yield strength. This allows engineers to reduce wall thickness, lowering the overall weight of offshore platforms and industrial piping systems without compromising safety.
